Al Bano and Romina Power: “Enough with the speculations on the name of Ylenia”

In 1994, the life of Al Bano and Romina Power was marked by the disappearance of their eldest daughter Ylenia, who disappeared in 1994 under unclear circumstances while she was in New Orleans, in the United States.

Also in ’94, a street artist, seen in his company in a hotel in New Orleans, was arrested and subsequently released; a guardian of the municipal aquarium, on the other hand, declared that he had seen a girl resembling Ylenia Carrisi throw herself into the waters of the Mississippi. From that point on, only hypotheses, conjectures and alleged sightings followed.

The latest indiscretion on this painful story, published by Dagospia, concerns Ylenia’s brother, Yari, who allegedly met her sister secretly in Santo Domingo.

The indiscretion inevitably provoked reactions.

Yari Carrisi: her version

Yari Carrisi and her father Al Bano have released a series of statements to AdnKronos.

The second son of Al Bano and Romina Power denied the notizie /”>news :

This notizie /”>news is completely false. I’ve never been to Santo Domingo in my life. Ylenia’s is still an open wound: I’m disappointed. However Ylenia was the most cultured, free from conditioning, beautiful and creative person I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Since she disappeared I have done everything to continue her work in the spirit of pure travelers in the physical and spiritual way.

Al Bano: his statements

Al Bano, on the other hand, always at AdnKronos, spoke simply of speculation, hoping that, in the future, this story will no longer be talked about:

I really don’t think my son said he met Ylenia. These are completely unsubstantiated statements. Unfortunately for years there has been speculation about my daughter’s name, perhaps because she sells newspapers. We want to be left alone on this matter.

Romina Power: the post-release

Finally, Romina Power practically subscribed to the thought of her ex-husband, letting off steam with a post on her official Instagram profile:

But when will you stop speculating on my family? When are you going to stop stuffing people’s heads with bullshit bullshit? You just have to be ashamed.
