With a long post published just now on Instagram, Diletta Leotta responds to the rumors concerning her private life and denounces the morbid attention of the media towards her. He does so the day after the publication on the Dagospia website of an indiscretion according to which his new flame would be Ryan Friedkin, vice president of Rome. All this after a few days from the rumors of the break with Can Yaman (which also Striscia la Notizia, who gave her the tapir, took care of it).
The social outburst of Diletta Leotta
Here is what the host of Dazn writes, followed on Instagram by almost 8 million users:
I have always been silent, until now. And, perhaps, I was wrong. I was deluding myself, in fact, that sooner or later good information would have the better of junk journalism. So I suffered the daily drop of gossip -poison; the photographers under the house and on scooters behind my every move; the drones outside the windows. But now I’m a little tired.
Leotta continues by denouncing the fact that she is the subject of “click-catching falsehoods in the newspapers”:
I say this because, reading the click-catching falsehoods in the newspapers that are reserved for me every day, anyone can think that I am a man-eater, a woman incapable of loving. And it is unacceptable. Do not tell me, in fact, that it is the price to pay for success. Or that I have been looking for it and I am looking for it because of the make-up, the shapes, the clothes worn, the photos posted. All choices that fall within the sphere of individual freedom, right? And individual freedom, in respect and consideration of the other, must be respected, right? I do not offend and I do not judge anyone.
Explain to me why, then, a woman cannot have friends, but always and only lovers. Because if I meet a nice guy twice for an aperitif, do we immediately talk about new love? Why if I do a commercial with a footballer it insinuates for months that we are a secret couple? Because if I hang out with a beautiful actor and we’re happy, does it have to be a made-up story? And why if, in compliance with the lockdown, I give up a wonderful trip abroad, we are talking about a crisis between us?
Diletta Leotta’s lunge: I’m bored
Words, these by Diletta Leotta, which in fact seem to represent a further denial of the alleged crisis with the Turkish actor from Day Dreamer. So, the final reflection with the outburst (“I’m bored”) and the reference to the grandmother, already mentioned when she took the stage of the Ariston theater for Sanremo 2020.
I have endured everything, up to now, learning to laugh at it, sometimes. But I reflect on the fact that no male celebrity, talent, public figure, call it what you will, is the subject of morbid journalistic attention in the private sphere as is a woman in film and TV.
Can I say I’m bored? Also out of respect for readers deceived by ill-informed journalists. And for the love of the people around me who are often hurt because of the falsehoods about me. And also for the love of my grandmother, who at eighty believes, mistakenly, in everything the newspapers write.
Stop. I also went beyond extra time. And I apologize for it. But, as they say in Rome, “Quanno ce vo ‘ce vo'”!
