Miguel Bosé: “COVID? I’m a denier with my head held high”

Miguel Bosé, interviewed on Spanish TV La Sexta, has released a series of statements on COVID-19 that will inevitably cause discussion.

The denier position of Miguel Bosé is known, considering that the artist, last August, was also banned from Twitter for spreading fake notizie /”>news on the Coronavirus.

It should also be remembered that the mother of the Italian-Spanish singer and actor, Lucia Bosé, died about a year ago, in Segovia, Spain, due to pneumonia complicated by COVID-19.

Miguel Bosé, who, before starting the interview, demanded that the journalist take off his mask, reiterated his denier thesis. Even regarding the death of his mother, for Bosé, the Coronavirus has nothing to do with it:

I am a denier and this is a position that I carry on with my head held high. There is a design that does not want to be revealed, this is the truth. It wasn’t the virus that killed her, but something else. If I spoke I would say very dangerous things for those who had to cure her.

After controversial statements about COVID-19, Miguel Bosé also spoke about his relationship with drugs. The singer said he was done with drugs for good 7 years ago:

One night I called some friends and told them I needed to party. I remember the first glass, then the first strip of coke. The effects lasted me a week. I thought it was a necessary part, linked to creativity. But, overnight, drugs stop being your ally and become your enemy. I didn’t go out to clubs anymore but I did the same every day. I ended up consuming nearly 2 grams of cocaine a day, as well as smoking marijuana and taking pills. With this stuff I only quit 7 years, forever.

Finally, during the interview, Miguel Bosé also talked about his voice problems, problems of an emotional nature related to his sentimental sphere (the reference is to the end of the love story with his ex-partner, Nacho Palau, and to legal battle for custody of their 4 children):

My natural voice comes and goes. It is an emotional problem. I began to lose my voice when my family … Here, when this relationship began to go wrong, when love no longer exists and even friendship and civil coexistence disappear, when everything collapses … In my case , for discretion, responsibility, education, first you collect everything but then you explode. So, for me, serious problems started. Including the voice: now at least I can speak but I had just come to no longer emit sounds.
